AP ANDHRA PRADESH STRIKES - Prohibition of strikes in the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport
Corporation for further period of six months with immediate effect - Orders - Issued.

ORDER:
The following Notification will be published in an Extra-ordinary issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette, dated: 30-01-2016.
NOTIFICATION
1.Whereas, a Notification was issued in G.O.Ms.No.180, Transport Roads and
Buildings Department, dated the 7th June, 1980, declaring any service under the
Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation as an essential service under the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971 ( Andhra Pradesh Act 20 of 1971);
2. And whereas, orders were issued in G.O.Ms.No.14, TR&B (Tr.II) Department, Dated: 10-04-2015 prohibiting strikes for a period of six months w.e.f 10.04.2015 in any service under Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation constituted under the Road Transport Corporation Act, 1950 (Act 64 of 1950) and the said period expired;
3. And whereas, Government have considered that in the public interest, it is
necessary and expedient to prohibit strikes in any service under the Andhra Pradesh
State Road Transport Corporation for a period of six months;
4. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 3 of
the Andhra Pradesh Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971 (Andhra Pradesh Act 20 of 1971), the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby prohibit strikes in any service under the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation constituted under the Road Transport Corporation Act, 1950 (Act 64 of 1950) for a period of six months with immediate effect.
