Sub:- Telangana State School Education Announced Summer Holidays for Schools in Telangana from 16.04.2016 to 12.06.2016 instead of 24.04.2016 to 12.06.2016. Schools reopen with New academic year 2016 17 on 13.06.2016.
The Department of School Education, Government of Telangana has reviewed the advisories issued by the Disaster Management Department on prevailing heat waves. Due to high day temperatures recorded in the State and taking feedback from District Collectors and also considering he demand at the parents of school children. It is decided to declare holidays to all Schools functioning under Government / Local Bodies/ Private Management from 16.04.2016 and the Summer Vacation is rescheduled from 16.4.2016 to 12.06.2016 lnstead of 24.04.2016 12.06.2016. The Academic Year 2016-17 will commence with effect from 13.6 2016.
