The currency notes of Rs/-500 will look completely different from the present , which has a mix of green and yellow colours. The new one will be a combination of grey and yellow with picture of Delhi Red Fort and houses a number of museum on one side of the note .
New currency notes Rs/-2,000 note has light purple colour with the picture of Mangalyaan the Mars Orbiter Mission, printed on one side of the note back side.

Indian Central Government and RBI take an decision to tackle the scourge of corruption and black money and terrorism &Counterfeit Currency in the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi jee said currency notes Rs/-500 and Rs/-1000 notes will no longer be legal from midnight today.
The New Notes of currency notes Rs/-2000 and Rs/-500 will be coming soon, RBI has decided to limit the notes ATMs in the country may not function on November 9 and 10.
P.M said to people holding notes of Rs/-500 and Rs/-1000 can deposit the same in their authorised Bank and Post office Saving accounts from November 10th to December 30th-2016. He explained that the currency notes will be just paper with no value for their expired after next Announcement.
