AP Sarva Siksha Abhiyan (SSA) Hyderabad Supply of 10,000 Tablet Devices for School Information Management System (SIMS) that will bring all information Model Primary Schools, Upper Primary Schoolsand KGBV's to monitor implementation of MidDay Meal Scheme,Check on student, teacher Attendance- Certain instructions and guidelines -Issued as per AP SSA/MIS/1388/A8/2015,Dt: 13.03.2017.



The department of School Education has decided tobuild aportal for School Information Management System (SIMS) that will bring all information and data relating to students, Teachers, Education services and schemes in a single platform.

In this regard, the procurement of 10,000 Lenovo Model No.A7-30 Tablet devices ismade and supplied to Mandal Educational Officers, Head Masters of Model Primary Schools, Upper Primary Schoolsand KGBV's to monitor implementation of Government Schemes under Sarva Siksha Abhiyan, MidDay Meal Scheme, Check on student, teacher Attendance. The device can be carried forvisits and inspections for filing online reports etc., which provides around 8 hours of power backup. Also with this device allthe Aadhar enabled authentication of newly joined teachers and students can also be accomplished.

TheTablets provided may be utilised forthe following purposes.



  • To file his Attendance online
  • To plan forhis/her visits
  • To file inspection reports online
  • To Monitor the student andteaching and nonteaching staff
  • To submit enquiry reports online
  • To Monitor allschemes - Midday meal scheme and NT Books
  • To prepare budget plans
  • To submit the UCs online
  • To reply foraudit objections online
  • To analyse, plan forbetterment of SSC results
  • To sanction annual grade increment of staff
  • To collect the statistical data ofthe habitation
  • To sanction leaves online
  • To forward medical reimbursement proposals and subsequent release of payment.
  • To generate basic MIS reports
  • U-DISE
  • APGS pp for monitoring toilet sanitation condition.


Further, any other modules developed by theEducation Department andother regular officework in the offices ofthe District Educational Officers, MandaI Educational Officers can alsobe used asTeaching learning Material/Equipment.

The above activities and guidelines shall be followed scrupulously.
