AP Republic day celebration Compitisions at school complex/mandal/division/district Level as per RC.NO:14.

AP Celebrations on account of Republic Day on 26-1-2018 in schools Conduct of various competitions at school, complex, Mandal /Divisional/District Level -Instructions as per Rc.No.14 Dated 12.01.2018
All the District Educational Officers in the State are informed that, the following competitions have to be conducted at school, complex, mandal, divisional and district Levels on account Republic Day on 26-1-2018 and gifts awarded to the winners at levels.



The following competitions are activities in following activities in all schools in the State.

  • Essay Writing
  • Poems reading
  • Painting
  • Drawing
  • Elecution
  • Songs (Desabhaksthi Geethalu)
  • Sports & Games


The following headmasters / officers are hereby appointed to act as Nodal Officers at various levels and Deputy Educational Officer and Mandal Educational Officers should coordinate at school, complex, mandal and divisional levels as was done in the Janmabhoomi Programme.

  1. School Level Headmaster
  2. Complex Level Complex Headmaster
  3. Mandel Level Mandel Educational Officer. 
  4. Divisional Level Dy. Educational Officer
  5. District Level District Educational Officer


The following sports have to be conducted at school, complex, Mandel, Divisonal and District Levels.

Out of the following sports, at least three sports have to be conducted to the students of la, 2,0 and 3. Classes at school level. At school level, Headmaster of the concerned school and at complex level complex headmaster should conduct these activities:

1. Hopping,
2. Lemon & spoon,
3. Plucking the Tail,
4. Skipping and
5. 25 mts run

Out of the following sports, at least three sports have to be conducted to the students of 4. & 5. Classes at school, complex, mandal, divisional and district levels in the prescribed schedule. These sports should be organised by the Headmaster at School level, Complex Headmaster at Complex level, Mandal Educational Officer at Mandal level and Deputy Educational Officer at divisional level and Deputy Educational Officer, Headquarters at district level.

6. Kabbadi.

Out of the following sports, at least four sports have to be conducted for the students of 6., 7. & 8. Classes at school, complex, Mandel and district levels as per schedule.

These sports should be organised by the Headmaster at School level, Complex Headmaster at Complex level, Mandal Educational Officer at Handal level and Deputy Educational Officer at divisional level and Deputy Educational Officer, Headquarters at district level.

17. 200 mts RIM,
18. 400 mts run
19. 4 x 100 Relay.

Out of the following sports, at least five sports have to be conducted for the students of 9. & 10° Classes at school, complex, Mandel and district levels as per schedule. These sports should be organised by the Headmaster at School level, Complex Headmaster at Complex level, Mandel Educational Officer at Mandel level and Deputy Educational Officer at divisional level and Deputy Educational Officer, Headquarters at district level.

17. 200 mts Run,
18. 400 rote run
19. 4 x 100 Relay.

The following procedure may be adopted in conducting the sports ie., the details of winners at school level to Complex Headmaster, complex level to Mandel Educational Officer, Mandel level to Dy. Educational Officer to conduct Divisional Level and divisional level to Deputy Educational Officer, Headquater of the district.

The Deputy Educational Officer at Headquarter level should organise the competitions at district level after Sankranthi holidays and submit the details to the District Educational Officer.
Gifts should be awarded to winners in each and every stage.

The expenditure may be met from the SSA funds and donations received donors. The guidelines should be followed in the handbooks of SSA distributed to all Schools in the State.

The winners of Janinabhomi programme also may be selected for District Level Competitions. They are therefore requested to take all necessary steps to conduct the above activities in all schools and sports in all levels as mentioned above without any deviations.

The Headmasters, Complex Headmasters, Mandel Educational and Deputy Educational Officers are accountable at various levels to organise the above activities / events, if any negligence is observed at any level, necessary disciplinary action will be initiated by the department against them.
