The attention of all the District Educational Officers in the State are invited to the reference read above, the Government has informed vide reference cited along with enclosures of the reference 2nd and 3rd cited and requested to issue instructions to take Swachhata Pledge during the morning assembly in all schools on hygiene and sanitation.
Pledge:-
Further, Sri Hardeep S Puri, Minister of State We), Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India has request to kindly instruct all schools in the state of A.P to devote time, preferably during the morning assembly or attendance, to A minute for swachhata". It may be utilized to take the swachhata pledge or source segregation pledge, instruct students on simple 'swachhata' related actions that they can take in their homes, educate them on hygiene and sanitation, educate them regarding the harmful effects of littering, open defecation, open urination, etc.,
Therefore, all the District Educational Officers in the state are instructed to give necessary instructions to the all Dy.E.Os / MEOs / HM Gr-II to take Swachhata Pledge during the morning assembly in all schools on hygiene and sanitation and submit compliance report to this office.
This should be treated as most urgent.
