AP Nursing Education – Enhancement of seats from 50 to 100 seats in KIMS College of Nursing, Amalapuram, East Godavari District – Orders-Issued.
In the G.O.1st read above, it is provided that Nursing College having parent Medical Colleges/ Hospitals with more than 500 beds are entitled to have 100 seats.
In the G.O.2nd read above, permission was accorded for establishment of KIMS College of Nursing at Amalapuram, East Godavari in private sector and starting the degree course in B.Sc (Nursing) of four years duration with an intake capacity of 50 (fifty) students.
In the letter 3rd read above, the Chairman, High Power Committee has reported that the proposal for enhancement of seats of B.Sc. Nursing, received from the Mother Theresa Educational Society, Amalapuram E. G.Dist was forwarded to the Principal, Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada, and Member Convenor, District Level Team, Kakinada. He has further stated that in the letter dt. 8-11-2013, the Principal RMC, Kakinada and Member Convenor, District Level Team, E.G.Dist has submitted Inspection Report of KIMS College of Nursing, Amalapuram, E. G. Dist stating as follows:-
The Registrar, Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada shall take necessary action in the matter.

ORDER:

- The Chairman, High Power Committee has requested the Government to consider the matter and issue necessary orders in the matter.
- The Government after careful examination of the matter has decided to accept the report of District Level Team, Kakinada and accordingly, hereby accord permission for enhancement of seats from 50 to 100 in B.Sc (Nursing) course in KIMS College of Nursing,
- Amalapuram, East Godavari District being run under the Mother Theresa Educational Society, Amalapuram, East Godavari District.
The Registrar, Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada shall take necessary action in the matter.
