Andhra pradesh Diploma in Elementary Education Common Entrance Test (AP DEECET/DIET CET/D.Ed/TTC) is an entrance test for admission to Diploma In Education(D.Ed) 2years course in Govt. DIET and private elementary teacher training institutions across the Andhra pradhesh state.School education department of AP has released the AP DEECET/DIETCET/TTC 2018 Notification on 23 March 2018 for the academic year 2018-2019.Candidates are required to attend the online exam (Computer based Test) in all 13 districts of AP.Eligible candidates should apply online only.

- The admission will be based on candidate performance in AP DEECET 2018 entrance examination.
- The qualified candidate will be assigned ranking in the order of merit on the basis of score obtained in the examination in DEECET 2018.After announcement of results,then will be called for counselling,Registration fee & Payment

Eligibility Criteria for AP DEECET 2018
- Candidates should have completed 17 years age as on 1st September of the year of the admission.
- All the candidates should have completed 10+2 (or) its equivalent with 50% marks(45% for SC/ST/PH ) from intermediate board of AP/Telangana.
- Candidates who passed intermediate with vocational courses are not eligible.
- Mathematics:- Those who studied Mathematics as a subject at Intermediate level
- Physical Science: - Those who studied Physics & Chemistry as subjects at Intermediate level
- Biological Science: - Those who studied Botany & Zoology as subjects at Intermediate level
- Social Studies: - Those who studied any of two subjects out of Civics, Economics. History, Geography and Commerce at Intermediate level.
Exam Pattern for AP DEECET ( DIETCET) 2018
- The AP DEECET 2018 Exam will be conducted in Online Exam (Computer Based Test).
- The DIET CET Exam will be conducted in 100 Objective type multiple choice questions.
- There is two parts , Part- 1 for common to all & Part-2 for their subject optional
- All questions carrying equal marks and no negative marks for wrong answers.
- Exam will be conducted in 1 hour duration.
