AP Contract Services in Government Departments Extension of the contractual services up to 31.03.2021
In continuation of the orders issued in the reference 19th read above, orders were issued vide reference 21 read above, permitting all Departments to renew the contractual services exclusively, that were subsisting on 30th June, 2020 for another two months i.e., from 1st July, 2020 to 31st August, 2020 or an earlier period, as deemed appropriate, based on the imperative need for such services by the Departments, subjected that the terms and conditions of the contract shall remain unchanged for the contractual services,
Accordingly, the Heads of Departments-Secretariat and the Departmental Heads and the District Collectors were authorized to extend the contractual services that were subsisting on 30th June, 2020 for another two months i.e., from 1st July, 2020 to 31st August, 2020 at the State and Districts respectively, provided competent authority has undertaken a review of the need for Accordingly, while enclosing a Proforma, vide Finance U.O. Note No.FINO1-HROPDPP (OCE) /13/2019-HR-I, dt.17.08.2020, all the Departments of Secretariat/HODs are requested to furnish the details of the Contract persons with proper justification for further continuation of the contractual services beyond August, 2020. Inspite of that, a few Departments/ HoDs have furnished the details of the contract persons and recommended for further continuation with proper justification beyond 31.08.2020.
In the above context, after careful examination, the Government is hereby order for further continuation of the Contract persons working in the Departments/HODs as shown in the Annexure to this order till 31.03.2021.
These orders are strictly limited to those contractual services that were extended from time to time as per the orders issued by Finance Department in the reference cited. All the Secretaries of Secretariat departments and HoDs and District Collectors are hereby informed that no services shall be contracted without the prior concurrence of the Finance Department and the approval of the Government Copy of this order is available online at http://www.ap.gov.in/goir such services. The Departments/HoDs are advised to come up with proper justification for further continuation beyond August, 2020 in the Proforma (to be circulated).
