AP Establishment of Dr.YSR Urban Clinics Improvement of Primary Health Care delivery in Urban Areas
In the reference read above, permission is accorded for establishment of 560 YSR Urban Clinics in the State. Sanction is also accorded for construction of 355 new buildings, repairs to 205 existing buildings and procurement of furniture and equipment for establishment of 560 YSR Urban Clinics
In continuation of above orders, the Government hereby issue the following instructions for operationalization of YSR Urban Clinics.
New buildings construction and repairs to existing buildings shall be executed by the Municipal Administration and Urban Development Department, Commissioner of Health & Family Welfare & Mission Director, NHM shall transfer the funds to the MA&UD Department drawing from NHM and APHSSP funds in tranches as per physical progress of work. List of places identified for establishment of YSR Urban Clinics is attached as Annexure-I. Type design of new building is attached as Annexure-II.
Procurement of Furniture and Medical Equipment shall be done by the A.P.Medical Services Infrastructure Development Corporation. Commissioner of Health & Family Welfare & Mission Director, NHM shall transfer the funds to Managing Director, APMSIDC.
The Commissioner of Health & Family Welfare, Commissioner & Director, Municipal Administration shall take immediate further action
