1. In the reference first read above, the Director of Treasuries & Accounts, A.P. Ibrahimpatnam has reported that an amount of Rs.184.17 Lakhs has to be paid to NSDL towards service charges for maintenance of NPS accounts upto the 4th quarter of the financial year 2020-21 and hence requested the Government for release of Rs.5.00 Crores to meet the said expenditure for the F.Y. 2021-22 also. 

2. Government, after careful examination of the proposal of the Director of Treasuries and Accounts, A.P., hereby sanction an amount of Rs.184.17 lakhs for payment to NSDL towards service charges for maintenance of NPS accounts upto the 4th quarter of the financial year 2020-21. 

The expenditure can be incurred under 2071 - Pension and Other retirement benefits 01-Civil 117-Government Contribution for defined contribution pension scheme SH (04) - Contribution to Contribution Pension Scheme of A.P. State Government Employees 320 - Contribution from BE 2021-22. Since the Head of Account is operating as NTC head, no BRO is required to incur this expenditure. 

3. The Director of Treasuries and Accounts and Pay Accounts Officer, Andhra Pradesh shall take necessary further action in the matter.
