The attention of the District Educational Officers and Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha in the State are invited to the ref 4th cited and it is informed that the clarification issued in point 7 of ref 4th cited is modified as follows Clarification sought

• Whether the Government employed parent can contest as member or not
• Previous clarification - Yes
• Revised clarification - No

2. Hence all the District Educational Officers and Additional Project. Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha in the State are instructed to ignore the earlier clarification issued in point 7 of ref 4th cited. 

3. Further, the District Education Officers are requested to suspend the school work in all government schools on 22-9-2021 to facilitate to take up the elections to the Parents Committees on the same day. They are also requested to ensure SoP for prevention and spread of COVID at the time of conducting elections to the PCs.
