The following Notification will be published in the Telangana State Gazette:-

NOTIFICATION

The following amendment is issued to the Revised U.G.C. Scales of Pay, 2006, issued vide G.O.Ms.No.14, Higher Education (UE.II) Department, dated:20-02-2010 and published in the A.P.Gazette No.10, Supplement to Part-I, dated: March 11, 2010.

AMENDMENT

In the said Revised U.G.C. Scales of Pay, 2006, under item (f), Selection of Vice-Chancellor, for para 4 (i), the following shall be substituted, namely, -

 i) Persons of the highest level of competence, integrity, morals and institutional commitment are to be appointed as Vice-Chancellors. The Vice-Chancellor to be appointed should be a distinguished Academic, with a minimum of 5 years experience as Professor in a University System or 5 years experience in an equivalent position in a Reputed Research Organization or a distinguished person with proven administrative capabilities”.
