O R D E R:


1.In the letter first read above, the Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Government of India have issued a direction as per sections 71 (a) and (b) of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act, 2014 (No.6 of 2014), for reconstitution of Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation Board of Directors on the basis of population ratio as per 2011 Census (i.e. Residual Andhra Pradesh : Telangana:: 58.32:41.68), for appointment of 17 members to the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation Board, out of which 5 members from Central Government and remaining 12 members from State Government. The 12 members of State Government in Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation Board may be divided between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on the basis of population ratio i.e 7 members from Andhra Pradesh and 5 members from Telangana.


2.In the reference third read above the Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation, has furnished a proposal for Re-constitution of Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation Board pertaining to Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation, with the following Directors.

3.In the absence of Chairman, the Vice Chairman and Managing Director shall preside over the Meeting in the capacity of Chairman, as per section 11(2) of the RTC Act, 1950.
