AP Engaging Guest Faculty in APRE Institutions 2021-22 as per Rc.No:5258

All the Principals of APRE Institutions in the state except Degree College, Nagarjunasagar, are hereby permitted to engage Guest Teachers against the sanctioned vacant posts of Teaching Staf who worked in the previous academic year i.e 2020-21.
The following guidelines should be followed scrupulously while engaging the Guest Faculty.
The Guest faculty who worked earlier for the academic year 2020-21 should only be considered based on their performance if found satisfactory. No Guest Faculty should be engaged afresh without prior permission. The Guest faculty should be engaged on full time. No Part time members should be engaged.
1. In Service and retired incumbents should not be engaged as full the time Guest Teacher.
2. The candidates should be able to teach in English medium only.
3. As far as the availability, the Female candidates should be allotted to girl’s institutions only.
4. The candidates should give undertaking to the Principal that they are not working elsewhere.
5. No appointment order or service certifcates should be issued to the candidate.
The Guest teachers so engaged are purely temporary basis as a stop gap arrangement. They should be clearly informed that the services are liable for termination at any time without any prior notice.
6. The Principal can engage Guest Faculty any one of Hindi or Sanskrit or Urdu subjects as per the requirement against any allotted posts of Hindi/Sanskrit/Urdu.
7. In case of engaging Guest Faculty afresh against the vacancies arose due to retirement/ Promotions etc.(for engaging new personnel), the Principals concerned should get prior permission in writing in the below proforma from the Secretary, APREI Society. After getting permission from the Secretary ,APREIS only, the Principals should engage guest faculty afresh with the approval of following committee.
- Name of the School Name of the post and subject against which fresh Guest faculty required Reason
8. Qualifcations for TGTs and PGTs as prescribed in DSC-2018 vide G.O.Ms.No.68 dt.26.10.2018 School Edu. Dept., Govt of AP
9. And for the other posts i.e., JLs, P.D, P.E.T and Staf Nurse, qualifcations prescribed in Service Rules of A.P.R.E.I.Society.
8. All the Principals should constitute a Committee with the following members for engaging Guest Faculty afresh.
Committee for A.P.R.Schools:
a. Mandal Educational Ofcer (MEO) of the Mandal concerned -----Member
b. Convenor of the concerned district Member
c. Asst. to the Principal of the School concerned Member
d. Regular Teacher of concerned subject Member
e. Principal of the concerned school Member- Convenor
Committee for A.P.R.Jr.Colleges :
a. Regional Inspection Ofcer(RIO)/ his Nominee--- --------Member
b. One senior subject Lecturer in the College or neighboring College- -Member
c. Principal of concerned College - Member- Convener
9. The remuneration should be paid as per orders in the reference cited.
10.The Principals concerned should monitor the classes of Guest faculty and Guest faculty should teach classes to the utmost satisfaction of students.
11.The Principals should obtain feedback from the students and if any one found unsuitable, the services of that Guest Faculty shall be withdrawn immediately.
12.The Regional Dy. Secretaries and Convenor Principals are requested to monitor the issues with the Principals of Institutions.
13.The Guest faculty against the posts of PET/PD/Staf Nurse should be engaged soon after the reopening of Schools only.
14.The Principals are instructed not to engage any Guest Faculty against the posts which are not sanctioned.
Receipt of these proceedings should be acknowledged.
